WHAT THE REVIEWERS ARE SAYING

FIVE STARS! Never Too Late is a solid five star story that left me impressed, making me want to read this book again and again. It is not necessary to have read the previous books in this series, but I bet after reading this one, you will want to. Caitlyn Willows has created a passionate erotic romantic story that left me gasping. Ms. Willows developed two central characters that were intriguing and exciting. Simon was a man that came to realize his life was empty without Emily, the woman he still loves. Emily is a woman that can not resist her strong desires to have Simon rekindle their love life, with the hope they will get back together. Both want to reclaim the life they had together in the past and the fiery sex they had when married seemed to be the best way to make this happen. I loved how both Simon and Emily were so passionate in their thoughts and actions. The storyline is well thought out and creative. Ms. Willows presented strong romantic feelings as well as hot erotic needs, but the use of the hot sex made the story come alive in a way that captured me. The sex is captivating and drew me into every second of their erotic play. I found that I had to read the entire story in one sitting, as I could not wait to see if Simon and Emily could restart their lives together. Ms. Willows has a delightful writing style that made it a pleasure to read her story. I urge every woman that enjoys hot romance with well written erotic scenes to grab a hold of this book and hang on for a wild wonderful ride. ~Wendy Cable, Just Erotic Romance Reviews

FIVE HEARTS! This book is a fun read; like my favorite coffee, it’s hot and sweet. There is lots of well written, imaginative and very stimulating sex. This is the fifth book in the Teamwork series, but it stands alone as though it weren’t. The characters are well written, but what stands out most about them is how much they enjoy sex together and how much they’ve missed it in the years they’ve been apart. Simon is humble and willing to do anything for Emily’s pleasure. Emily has quite an imagination when it comes to sex; she’s trying out every position she’s fantasized being in with Simon. They’ve never stopped loving each other and have tons of pent up sexual energy that they expend with great flare. I recommend keeping your partner or other favorite toy nearby while reading Never Too Late. This is a terrific end to the series. I’m sorry it’s over, but these are books I’ll be reading again and again, snuggled up in my reading chair on stormy afternoons or in the wee hours of the night when I can’t sleep and need to read erotic romance that makes me smile. The whole Teamwork series shouldn’t be missed, but Never Too Late is definitely a must read. ~Karen H., The Romance Studio

FIVE LIPS! Never Too Late is the last of the five-book Teamwork series, and hate to see it come to an end, but nevertheless, the phrase, "all good things must come to an end" accomplished just that. WOW how it did! Ms. Willows sure knows how to wrap up a series. This book is so hot, there isn't enough water to put out this blaze. Bravo! This book could be read as a standalone, but why would you? If you haven't already done so, I highly advise that you read the previous books which are Inside Man,Laying Low, Loose Ends and A Real Man. ~Joni, Two Lips Reviews

4.5 BLUE RIBBONS! Caitlyn Willows ends her TEAMWORK series with an unforgettable story in NEVER TOO LATE. Readers will be able to understand and empathize with Simon and Emily's emotional upheaval and fears. I fell in love with Simon in LOOSE ENDS and A REAL MAN so I was thrilled to learn that he'd have a story of his own and it's definitely well worth reading. I found Emily to be a strong woman who went through a loss which would destroy most women and yet she remains strong and hopeful. This is exactly the sort of couple that you want to see find their happily-ever-after. Kudos Ms. Willows on a wonderful series which I have thoroughly enjoyed. ~Chrissy Dionne, Romance Junkies

FOUR HEARTS! NEVER TOO LATE is the fifth book in the Teamwork series by Caitlyn Willows and is definitely as good as all the others. The reader met Simon in the fourth book and got a brief glimpse into his past and his feelings for Emily, NEVER TOO LATE tells all the rest. It is heart wrenching as Emily and Simon, who both blame themselves, relive the murder of their children and how painful it has been for them over the years. At the same time, it is wonderful to see how connected the two have remained. The chemistry Simon and Emily share in the bedroom rivals that of the Matt and Allie in the previous books from this series. Ms. Willows has a definite way with words when she wants to convey the intimate passion between her characters. NEVER TOO LATE is yet another must read in this series! ~Mandie, Love Romances and More

EXCERPT

Simon Petrocelli couldn’t breathe. There she was, looking more beautiful than the first time he’d met her all those years ago. His heartbeat reverberated in a loud ka-thump, just as it had that day. If he stood here long enough, quiet enough, Simon could pretend they still had their future before them, a chance at forever.

Fear and uncertainty clawed at his gut. This wasn’t their beginning. It wasn’t even their end—they’d passed that heart-wrenching moment some time ago. He could save himself the turmoil sure to come and turn around and walk out the door. She hadn’t seen him. She’d be none the wiser. Or he could man-up and finish what he came here to do—crawl on hands and knees if necessary to plead for yet another chance.

Simon blinked away the uncharacteristic rush of tears. He’d be lucky if she didn’t slice his balls into slivers. No…not that lucky. To do that would mean she still cared. That he still inspired some emotion in her, even if it was hate. He could deal with hate. What he most feared was that she’d look up at him with those emerald green eyes, and he’d see nothing reflected in their golden depths. That might just kill him—a fate he deserved.

In the twelve years he’d known Emily Keating, their relationship could be described as a roller-coaster ride of intense joy and pain. The fault was exclusively his. No matter what his job, Simon had always given it more attention than he did Emily. He wanted to say he tried, but knew that was a lie. Oh, he’d resigned from the FBI…and jumped right into the fast-paced world of running his father’s corporation. Five years later, when Emily needed him most, Simon was right back into undercover work and juggling two jobs instead of one.

The look she’d given him when he’d told her the news had haunted him since—disbelief, disappointment, pain, betrayal, more grief to compound what they were already dealing with. And not one tear. He supposed she didn’t have any more to shed. God knows, he didn’t. He’d yelled and screamed, while she’d calmly packed to leave. When he realized she was determined to walk away, he begged her to understand, to give him a second chance. Her response chilled him then and now.

“It’d be more like a fifth chance, Simon. No more. I’m done.”

He’d stood there, frozen, and watched the only woman he’d ever loved walk out of his life, dragging his heart in the Las Vegas sand behind her. In the subsequent divorce, she asked for nothing. No alimony. No household possessions. Only to be left alone. He’d honored that…until now. That didn’t mean he hadn’t kept tabs on her.

Simon watched Emily, absorbed in her work. Her long auburn hair was pulled into a ponytail and still not a strand of silver to be seen. She had so many freckles splattered across her ivory skin that from a distance she looked tan. He’d mapped every single one of those freckles with his tongue. The memory swelled his cock. He did nothing to squelch it, hoping maybe they’d at least have that to fall back on. No matter what had transpired in the past, they’d never been able to keep their hands off each other. That is, until the final horror that pulled them apart.

She looked much like she had the first time he’d met her. Dressed in jeans, green tank top, and sneakers, the years fell away. She was twenty-six again, and he a horny thirty—as opposed to a horny forty-two. Emily sat among crates filled with archaeological artifacts, studiously recording each one on paper and camera. She had to know the request for her services had come via him. If she didn’t when the call was initially made, there really wasn’t any doubt once she’d heard where the items had come from and what they were. Odd that she didn’t attempt to call him. Or had she suspected he’d eventually show up? Or was it more proof she didn’t give a damn about him anymore?

He wasn’t sure he wanted to know. He couldn’t bear seeing that non-look in her eyes. Eyes that once had flared with heat and passion, the splashes of gold looking more like molten flames. He wanted to walk up to her, see the craving still etched on her face, have her strip his jeans down, feel her hot mouth surround his dick. He’d thrust his fingers in her thick hair and cradle her head while she had her way with him. She’d bring him to the brink, then shove him to the floor and mount his hips to give him the fucking of his life…again. No one before or after had ever made sex better. Usually, it was release only or, in the case just finished, part of the job. With Emily…

Defeat sagged Simon’s shoulders. There was no use thinking about what was and would never be again. He was a fool to have come here today. It was too late and he was too big a coward to risk seeing nothing in her eyes.

He stepped back, intent on leaving. The puzzlement on her face when she picked up a small artifact stopped him.

Just one more minute, his heart begged him. His body acquiesced.
